In honor of the Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Day on September 9, 2020 the St. Louis Arc hosted a virtual Lunch and Learn to talk more about FASD. Facilitators Elizabeth M. Barlet, MD, FACOG, Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialist and Julia Schaffner, Coordinator for the St. Louis Arc’s Go the Whole 9 program, shared how we can end this preventable disorder by learning about the life-long damaging effects caused by alcohol use during pregnancy and make the pledge to help end Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders.
